Fifth class pupils from Scoil na mBuachaillí, Clonakilty, Co. Cork, Ireland have twinned with CEIP MARIA ZAMBRANO, Sevilla, Spain. The pupils are 11 and 12 years of age. The topic chosen was The Power of Images. The schools communicated over the web and through discussion and group work they compiled a list of safety rules which they feel are important when using the internet and sending images online. Scoil na mBuachaillí then produced a film titled "Safe Images @ SNB.com". The children in Spain viewed the film and sent a written response to the boys in Clonakilty. Both the film and the written response are posted on this blogathon.

Well done to the boys of Scoil na mBuachaillí, Clonakilty and to Regina for a most inspiring Video on the safe use of images. While highlighting issues of Internet safety it was also very entertaining.
Congratulations also to the pupils of CEIP MARIA ZAMBRANO, Sevilla, Spain for their considered responses to the video. We hope that we can collaborate in future projects with them

Well done Clonakilty! What a zippy and informative film. Unfortunately I had to view on dial up so didn't get great viewing but the music and the narration were excellent. You've made a very useful and accessible resource for other kids.
