Portugal - Italy ( good and civic practices on the internet use )
Competition: The Safer Internet Day 2007
Aim: Conquer a secure-net lighthouse to our school
The school E.B. 2/3 Luís de Sttau Monteiro - Loures - Portugal - is participating with a team of students ( 12-14 years old - grades 8 and 9 ), History, Geography and English teachers
Our partener school is Scuola Media Statale Giulio Capone - Montella ( av ) - Italy.
The language of communication will be English.
The site of communication is: - http://pmaiorpormenor.blogs.sapo.pt/ and the publication of a web-page based on the documentation searched and organized by the students.
Work-plan: Students sensitization to the good and civic pratices on the Internet use ( students must be taught not to use copies of more than 10% of a document, musical work, videotape,...)
- Search and description of images and photos from our region;
- Look up for information on the partener school region;
- Search for tourism information ( hotes, means de transport,...);
- Designing an itinerary - based on artistic, historical and patrimonial extent - considering the students-exchange
( Portugal-Italy ).
Aims to reach:
- Use the TIC as a mean of research and communication;
- Share information, essentially through images, produced by the students;
- Promote the dialogue between different cultures;
- Lead the students to reflet about the good and civic practices on the Internet use.

It's a very interesting, imaginative project.

I think that this is an interesting project that may lides to imaginative works from the students.
It's a very nice way to divulg the region as well a safe internet.
