Slovakian teachers
New ideas, new partners, many inspiration, enthusiasm - all those feelings were in group of Slovakian teachers. They had very good opportunity to meet colleagues, to share information and saw other countries work in real projects. They want to continue much more and believe that it is very useful for them and their pupils too.

eTwinning 2008 - PORTUGAL in Bucharest Romania
EXHIBIT in the 13th floor of the Rin Grand Hotel
The colourful stands from the different countries presented cakes, drinks, students` outcomes, docummentaries on their collaborative work. A good opportunity to get to know highly motivated, hard working teachers from other countries interested in creating classes with common work across Europe.
Here we are, the Portuguese Team getting their stand ready with our best quality projects, our Port and Madeira wines, traditional cakes from all over Portugal, green olives, pens, brochures and other items representing cities, boroughs, namely balloons from Marvila.

Exhibitions grounds – full steam ahead!
Come, see, admire. There’s no denying that what has been going on in the exhibition grounds on the 13th floor is something not to be missed during the eTwinning conference here in Bucharest. Representatives of all countries have been doing their best to make their national stands look impressive. The stands are full of beautiful posters, leaflets, photos and numerous gadgets. They are sample products which not only reflect the topics of the awarded projects but also give you the idea of how much was done and how successful the cooperation has been. There are some treats too, for those who want to have a taste of regional cuisines. I would suggest visiting the Polish stand to grab a few carmels ‘krowki’ or chocolate gingerbread biscuits ‘pierniczki’ – splendid for those who fall for sweets. There is something to drink too, I hope you know what drink Poland is famous for. :)
The Polish presence here in Bucharest has also been noticed by Mr Krzysztof Stanowski, the Deputy Minister of Education who is here in person. The projects presented here have been given a lot his attention. This gave Polish teachers a remarkable opportunity to present their projects and talk about important issues of education.
I am more than certain that visiting the exhibition prepared by the participants of the eTwinning conference will be always remembered as a pleasurable experience for everyone. If it is still possible, come and see it yourself.

Przyjdź, zobacz, podziwiaj. Nie ma żadnej wątpliwości, że jest coś, czego nie można pominąć podczas konferencji eTwinning w Bukareszcie, a mianowicie prezentacji stoisk wystawowych. Przedstawiciele wszystkich krajów starają się zrobić wszystko aby ich stoiska narodowe wyglądały naprawdę imponująco. Stoiska są pełne plakatów, ulotek, zdjęć i przeróżnych gadżetów, które nie tylko odzwierciedlają tematykę wspaniałych, wyróżnionych projektów ale także ukazują jak owocna współpraca może być. Na odwiedzających czeka także drobny poczęstunek, pozwalający poznać smak tradycyjnych narodowych i regionalnych przekąsek.
Polska obecność na konferencji w Bukareszcie została także zauważona przez Wiceministra Edukacji pana Krzysztofa Stanowskiego, który przybył na konferencję we własnej osobie. Wyróżnione polskie projekty spotkały się z uznaniem pana Wiceministra, a autorzy tych projektów mieli niezwykłą okazję do osobistego zapoznania szanownego gościa z ich treścią. Była to także okazja do rozmów na temat roli programu eTwinning w polskiej edukacji.Jestem całkowicie pewien, że zwiedzenie stoisk wystawowych zostanie na zawsze zapamiętane jako przyjemne doświadczenie dla każdego.

It's Almost St Patrick's Day!
The stand of the Irish National Support Service at the eTwinning Conference 2008 reflects the fact that it is almost St Patrick's Day. The national colours are very much in evidence, some Irish music and even some of the national beverages are also on show. Visitors may even try on a green hat and become an Irish person for a moment!
On a more serious note the stand has displays of eTwinning project materials from the following Irish schools: St Patrick's Junior School, Skerries, Co. Dublin, Newpark Comprehensive School, Blackrock, Dublin, St Cuan's Primary School, Co. Galway, Rathduane National School, Co. Cork and Balscadden Primary School, Co. Dublin.
