Heading soon to Prague!

The annual eTwinning Conference will take place this year in Prague, from 13-15 February 2009. We look forward to welcoming you there!

The theme of this year's conference is "eTwinning and Creativity" to both celebrate the creative work that teachers have been doing in eTwinning as well as the new European Year of Creativity and Innovation. We look forward to welcoming over 400 participants from across Europe including teachers, experts and representatives from the Central Support Service, National Support Services and the European Commission.

The conference will be opened by Ján Figel', European Commissioner responsible for Education, Training, Culture and Multilingualism and the keynote speech will be given by Dr. Edward de Bono, who is regarded by many as the leading authority in the field of creative thinking, innovation and the direct teaching of thinking as a skill.

The highlight of the conference will be the prize-giving ceremony where the winners of the eTwinning Prizes 2009 will be announced.

Please check back soon for more information on the conference. Throughout the programme's three days, participants themselves - including members of the CSS, NSS and teachers - will be posting updates, interviews, photos and videos about the conference, so you can keep up to date, up to the minute on what is going on right here on the blog.

The conference will take place at the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague.
