Sports at Vindängen.
Vindängen pupils have participated in a local school championship in athletics . Pupils from all schools in Falköping was invited. We did really well. See the presentation by clicking the picture below.
Our school have taken part in the national school sport event "Skol Joggen". Pupils from schools in all Sweden are running, and raising money for cancer research.

´We did this presentation about sports in Vindängen: KM not Skoljoggen, but KM, anyway, Yes we did more races than 60m and 1000m, we were doing: Throw little ball, High Jump,Length Jump,Putting The Shot.
Yes we gave out prizes,the winner got a gold medal´, and we did many races, three for the boys, and three for the girls. Final, halffinal and "Audition", or how you say it.140 cm was the highest jump of the day..of course of a guy..
We have sports event once a year, i didn´t do any high jumps, but i guess it was hard? Yes on the winter we have a lot of snow. And it´s really cold outside, we often go snowrace at school.

How often do your school have sports events?
We think there are a lot of people have blond and brown hair in your school.The weather didnt look very good for running and jumpming.
What was the highest jump of the day?
what Prizes did you give out to the winners of the races?How much races did you do?
Who won the 1000m race?Was the high jumps hard to do?
What changes happens to your climate around winter?WE HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GEAT FUN AT THE SPORT EVENT.

the camera used in the first presentation was Canon A80, a compact digital camera. All photos taken by the pupils.
In the secon "skoljoggen" I used a Nikon D70s. the pictures are postprocessed in PaintShopPro. Both these events take place every year.

Brilliant presentation of sport in a Swedish school. Lovely photos. What type of camera did you use??????
Swedish countryside looks very like our own Irish countryside in Autumn. It looks great.
Track and field events very interesting. Both events ,in countryside and in the stadium very good .Students trying hard and at the same time getting great excitement and satisfaction from their efforts. We hold a sports day in June each year.
