Handwriting
Penmanship is a great skill skill. Each year the INTO (Irish National Teachers Organisation) and the EBS (Educational Building Society) promote handwriting. Here we have our winner Joanna pictured from left with Mr. Seamus Long (INTO) and Mr. Thomas Stuart (EBS). A very pleasant function was held in The Meadowlands Hotel in Tralee, Co. Kerry where all prize winners were feted.

Joanna is a Junior Infant. She enrolled in our school in September 2007. The handwriting competion has several categories ranging from Junior Infants up to 14 years of age. While it is a competition the competitive element is played down and it is developed and promoted as a social exercise.Still we strive to attain a standard. What do you and Fredrik think of this concept??? I shall upload at the end of next week as this week we are totally into serious QUIZ preparation.

How old is Joanna? Can you upload so we can see her handwriting, please. We don´t have this competition here in Sweden.
