Conference on Energy is our Future school programme in Gdańsk, Poland

On the 8th of April 2009, at IV Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Gdańsk, took place a conference and workshops on Energy is Our Future project.

The conference started with a presentation of the project by Dorota Suchacz, who is the pedagogical advisor; next were three presentations prepared by the students on how we can economize on energy, how efficient should our automobiles be in order to consume less gasoline and finally how much we can achieve recycling plastic.

In the second part, students worked in six groups; each group had to fulfil - some of the students were asked to create an automobile natural environment friendly, others were to design a house where the loss of energy is minimum.

Both the host students and all the guests had a chance to present their point of view on energy subjects during the discussion at the end of the meeting.
