Day of Digital Learning in Germany & Austria

Digital learning is the main topic of learning in the 21st century. Pupils are growing in a world of networking. But in our schools there is a lot of backlog. Digital working is a central criterion as to teaming up in companies.
Digital learning means, working with wikis, podcasts, blogs, CMS et cetera.
Notebook-classes offer the possibility to use IT literacy as a matter of course.
My pupils are producing a lot of online presentations regarding different subjects, e.g. project FuturEnergia as well.
I’ve produced a small video uploaded on youtube about mobile learning in my lessons.

FuturEnergia in Regenstauf and Bonn, Germany

Hans Feldmeier teaches in Bavaria, Germany. He represents his country in the FuturEnergia advisory teacher group.

In November this year he took part in a meeting that gathered a large number of German teachers that have been interested in Comenius and eTwinning project opportunities.

The meeting took place in Regenstauf, next to Regensburg on the Danube River. Hans had the opportunity to present the Energy is our Future school programme (FuturEnergia) to the entire audience.

Hans is also planning to run a similar presentation at another meeting that is scheduled in Bonn this month. Thank you, Hans and good luck!
