If we intend to change something in this world to a better way, then we have to start by our children because they are the future. The main goals of the activities of Take-My-Hand e.V. is to improve the living conditions of children in the world. Besides the financial support on underprivileged children in our countries as well as abroad, we find it quite necessary that children and young people should be sensitized to consciousness of attain understanding what type of life situation and hardship children in other parts of the world face. This will in addition help in motivating them to learn to share with those who are in need. Our society should bring up children and youth who through their ideas and talents can contribute to social welfare work. They will hereby enjoy to witness the results of their personal active engagement and realize that it is indeed a great help for the poor and weak people in the society.

Spring Day for Europe 2008

Happy Holidays!

Spring Day for Europe 2008 was a success again with more than 4300 schools that took part in the campaign. They organised events and activities that focused on intercultural dialogue themes.

The participating schools submitted more than 5000 contributions to the Spring Day for Europe Web portal. The outcomes of the activities and competitions, in all the 23 EU official languages, confirm that a large number of students, teachers and guests celebrated and communicated cultures to their peers in Europe.

The Spring Day team at both central and national levels thank all teachers, students and guests that participated in the campaign.

Happy summer holiday and we look forward to cooperating with more schools, teachers, students and guests next school year!
