Spring Day Activities in the town of Tutrakan
Hello Europe!
Greetings from sunny Tutrakan – Bulgaria!
Spring gives us new power. The initiative of the EU Spring in Europe 2007 charges us with new ideas, expressions and spring mood! Euro-club “Euroclio-dream” at Hristo Botev School and (ODK)-the town of Tutrakan are taking part for third time in the initiative – 2007 with headline –“ Together since 1957” and “The schools celebrate”.
4th – In the school lobby is arranged a photo gallery- The chronicle of “Euroclio-dream” tells. The students arranged the symbols of EU. They chose a symbol of Bulgaria in European Union. The most votes as colour bands were about Panagurishte gold treasure and the Bulgarian rose.
7th of May – classrooms are decorated with posters, flags of the European countries, post cards and souvenirs.
7th – 8th of May – initiative of students from 10 b class: Desired and clean European school – cleaning of school and the school yard.
7th – 8th of May – Radio broadcast from the local radio station and the school radio –“Fresh teens”- a team of students from 9th grade; teachers – D.Rasheva and V.Atanasova.
9th of May - Celebration in school – The only road sign to Europe was put from the school principal Totio Peykov; The European fire of hope was lit for second time from students Luisa Ganeva and Martin Ganev from 6 a grade. With a lot of emotions many students, parents, teachers and members of the local authority took part in the traditional Bulgarian dance – horo.
9th of May –at 3 o’clock pm- Municipality hall – role play game European Parliamentary session -“The Law and we”. The students-members of the parliament passed with majority in the third reading “European ethical code of the young European citizen”- with accent of respect and tolerance between ethnic communities / students, parents, teachers/. “European members of the Parliament” – the students from 9th and 10thgrade in our school passed an absolute majority Euro-the message was read in Bulgarian by Elitza Conchev and in English by Teodora Roibova.
10th of May at 3 o’clock pm – HristoBotev School – “To be equal with the other European people”- presentation in connection with170 anniversary of the Apostle of Freedom birth. Levsky’s ideology of freedom and our history make us – Bulgarian people equal with the other European people.
14th of May – fashion defile of the model’s school at 9th grade.
