English: MEP Dirk Sterckx visits the Primary School of Beitem, Belgium

On 15 May 2008 MEP Dirk Sterckx paid a visit to the 2nd form of the Primary School in Beitem, a small village in West Flanders, Belgium. The guest was invited to watch three small movies which were made by the students and their teacher.

The guest was impressed by the content of the movies. Then the guest talked about the need for cooperation among the European countries.

At the end of the visit the students asked Mr. Dirk Sterckx questions on various subjects. Press photographer Stefaan Beel joined the guest to make photos for the local media.
